Esprit De Corps In Action: Family Sports Day 2026 Brings the AU Community Together

Assumption University of Thailand (AU)  celebrated unity, camaraderie, and collective pride during the 4th AU Family Sports Day 2026, held on  February 7, 2026 at the John Paul II Sports Center, Suvarnabhumi Campus.

“Esprit de Corps”: More Than a Theme

The event embraced the spirit of “Esprit de Corps,” a French term meaning team spirit and shared belonging. The day highlighted the bonds that connect administrators, faculty, staff, and the wider AU community, reminding everyone that AU thrives when it moves forward together.

Through laughter, teamwork, and mutual encouragement, the atmosphere reflected a culture of respect, cooperation, and pride that defines the AU family.

Seven Sports, One United Community

Participants competed across seven sports; Badminton, Basketball Shooting, Chairball, Sepak Takraw, Volleyball, Table Tennis, and Snooker, creating moments of excitement, support, and connection both on and off the court.

Every match became a celebration of participation, inclusivity, and collective energy, turning the Sports Center into a hub of AU spirit.

More Than Competition

AU Family Sports Day 2026 was about connection, strengthening relationships across departments, encouraging healthy lifestyles, and creating memories that will last well beyond the final whistle.

With colorful team outfits, high spirits, and countless photo-worthy moments, the event once again proved that AU is not just a university, it’s a family.
