Aspiring legal professionals at Assumption University of Thailand’s Thomas Aquinas School of Law took a decisive step toward their futures at the Career Guidance & Last Orientation, an event designed to bridge the gap between classroom learning and real-world legal practice. The Legal Counselling Center is hosting this event under Thomas Aquinas School of Law, bringing together distinguished guest speakers who shared invaluable career insights and firsthand experiences.

From Moot Court to the Real Courtroom

Leading the session were Ms. Prawnat Chayutthampakdee, a rising Public Prosecutor, and Mr. Thanapat Khaimarn, an Associate at Baker McKenzie, one of the world’s most prestigious law firms.

Ms. Chayutthampakdee, who made headlines for passing the prosecutor exam at a remarkably young age, shared her journey through Thailand’s judicial system and the demanding path to becoming a public prosecutor.

Mr. Khaimarn, representing Baker McKenzie, a firm renowned for its global legal expertise and high–profile corporate clients, provided a deep dive into the fast-paced world of private practice. From handling multinational cases to navigating firm culture, he highlighted the critical skills young lawyers need to thrive in a competitive legal landscape.
