Representatives from Assumption University of Thailand (AU) and the Thomas Aquinas School of Law paid a courtesy visit to Miss Sabida Thaiseth, also known by her nickname “Dida” (ดีด้า), Deputy Minister of Interior, at the Ministry of Interior in Bangkok. The occasion marked both the New Year 2025 and the celebration of her royal appointment as Deputy Minister.
Miss Sabida, a distinguished alumna of AU’s Bachelor of Laws Program (Batch 46), is a trailblazing Thai politician. She is the third member of her esteemed family to serve in successive Thai cabinets, following her father, Chada Thaiseth, Deputy Minister of Interior (2023–2024), and her aunt, Mananya Thaiseth, Deputy Minister of Agriculture (2019–2023). Her exceptional career, combined with her family’s legacy of public service, has made her a symbol of inspiration for young politicians and a source of pride for AU.
