Students of Thomas Aquinas School of Law, Assumption University won “The Second Runner Up” award from the “PSU Law Moot Court Competition” on the occasion of Prince of Songkhla University Academic Festival 2022, on Wednesday 17 August at the Faculty of Law, Prince of Songkhla University, Hat Yai Campus, Hat Yai District, Songkhla Province.
The main contents of the competition were constitutional law, criminal law, criminal procedure law, and law on the fishery. A number of public and private universities nationwide consigned their students to join this competition. The team members of Assumption University comprised Mr.Natat Sujjaritrat, Mr.Wasitpol Absuwan, and Mr.Patipon Prokobkit. All are sophomore students of the school of law.
After the end of the competition, Mr.Baramee Khaothong and Mr.Itthipol Khaothong, the two alumni of the school, acted as the representatives of Mr.Dej-Is Khaothong, a Member of the House of Representatives and Deputy Leader of the Democrat Party, donated a sum of money 20,000 Baht to the school to utilized in the graduate production process and other educational management of the school.
